Our client is hiring an IT Operations Support Specialist on a hybrid basis (onsite every other Wednesday) in Washington DC for $35/hour (W2).

The IT Operations Support Specialist shall:

• Provide technical assistance in all aspects of data processing operations.
• Work with Server applications.
• Have technical experience in the utilization and implementation of tools to monitor the server applications.
• Have knowledge on how to identify, investigate and troubleshoot error conditions to help remediate system failure conditions.
• Have understanding of Configuration Management (CM) for software updates and migrations of code.
• This position may require weekend shifts

Qualifications:

• 2 years of configuration management experience
• 2 years of software migration experience
• 2 years of startup of production applications and systems experience
• 2 years of Microsoft SQL Management Studio and Oracle SQL experience
• Microsoft Office Application Suite experience
• (Desired) Support Web and Client Server applications experience
