Our client, a well respected Philadelphia Public Works Company, is seeking a Part-time Test Proctor for 15-20 hours per week to start ASAP.
Duties Will Include

- Administering Exams: Proctors distribute exam materials, monitor the testing environment, and ensure that all test-takers adhere to the rules and guidelines.
- Checking Identification: They verify the identity of test-takers to prevent cheating and impersonation.
- Explaining Instructions: Proctors provide instructions to test-takers regarding the exam format, time limits, and any special rules.
- Monitoring: During the exam, proctors supervise test-takers to prevent cheating, including monitoring for unauthorized materials, electronic devices, or communication.
- Assisting Test-takers: Proctors may assist test-takers with basic technical issues or procedural questions within the confines of the exam rules.
- Maintaining Security: They ensure that exam materials are handled securely before, during, and after the test administration.
- Reporting Incidents: If any irregularities or violations of testing procedures occur, proctors document and report them to appropriate authorities.
- Ensuring Accessibility: Proctors may provide accommodations to test-takers with disabilities or special needs, as required by law or testing policies.
- Maintaining Confidentiality: Proctors must maintain the confidentiality of exam content and test-taker information at all times.
- Professionalism: Proctors must exhibit professionalism and impartiality in their interactions with test-takers and other staff members.
- Training: Depending on the organization, proctors may undergo training to familiarize themselves with testing procedures, security protocols, and relevant policies.
- Flexibility: They should be flexible with their schedules, as test administrations may occur during weekdays, evenings, or weekends, depending on the needs of the organization or institution.
