Job Summary:
The social media specialist / content creator will serve as a liaison between the organization and the public to maintain a positive image of the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase our brand awareness and engagement.
• Create, curate, and manage published content (images, videos, written content) across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
• Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications, and provide insights to improve our social media practices.
• Engage with our audience by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and alignment with overall marketing strategies.
• Track and analyze social media performance using analytics tools, and prepare regular reports to inform future strategies.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends.
• Coordinate with influencers and brand ambassadors to enhance our reach and credibility.

Required Skills/Abilities:
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to write in a journalistic style that is customary for external publications.

• Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva).
• Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels.

•Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
•Associated degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field required.
Physical Requirements:
•Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
