The Misch Group is Hiring a Commercial Lines New Business Specialist Near Cincinatti, OH

Purpose:

Primary focus to assist with the quoting and placement of New Business and where appropriate assist with the remarketing and placement of renewal business and otherwise support all aspects of the relationships with Commercial Lines Insurance customers.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist with placement of new business in accordance with Procedures

  • You will receive and record information for new commercial lines quotes and give to the CL mailbox for assignment.

  • As requested from time-to-time, you will be assigned new business to quote.

  • You will also be assigned a set of CL accounts which are a combination of business produced by Producers.

  • You will initially be responsible for the review of all renewals in accordance with Procedures and communicate with insureds in accordance with our Procedures. Our goal is to be working 90 days in advance of renewals.

  • You will when appropriate create year-to-year comparison on renewal business.

  • You will present renewal proposals to ISMs, producers, or communicate with agency customers (via telephone, email, text, etc.) with renewal proposals.

  • If appropriate, you will assist with the remarketing and placement of renewal business.

  • If you issue a remarketed renewal policy, you will follow the Procedures (New Business) for updating policy information in Hawksoft and assigning suspense to yourself for the next renewal.

  • You will generate applications, binders, renewal certificates, etc for remarketed business.

  • You will proof remarketed policies when issued and arrive.

  • You will also update or generate Summaries of Insurance and thank you letters on all business and electronically deliver our Welcome Kit to new customers or other scheduled communications with customers. Producers and ISMs will deliver all new business policies.

  • You will issue Renewal Certificates as necessary.

  • You will also be responsible for all aspects of the customer relationship during the course of the terms of the polices, including billing, certificates, endorsements, audits, inspections, etc. and will the Procedures on claims and late payment calls.

  • You will also be asked to assist from time-to-time to assist walk-in customers and help answer the telephones, which might include working with a Personal Lines customer

  • Assist with general office administration and customer service.

  • Assist with any other administrative or customer service duties as requested from time to time.

    There is an expectation of licensing as a property and casualty agent. 

Specific Knowledge:

  • A thorough appreciation of customer service techniques and sales environments is important. Also an appreciation of the insurance industry will be of great assistance.

  • Experience with Hawksoft Client Management System would be significant, but not required.
