Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of HR experience, demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of HR management, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compliance. This role offers a unique opportunity for an HR leader to develop new systems and processes, ensuring our company continues to grow and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Develop and implement innovative HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the company's goals and objectives.
Lead the development and enhancement of HR systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Provide strategic HR leadership and guidance to the executive team and department managers.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Manage employee relations issues, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
Oversee the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Mentor and develop Managerial team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 20 years of experience in human resources, with a proven track record of success in HR leadership roles.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compliance.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.
Proven experience in developing and enhancing HR systems and processes.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly desirable.
