Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Human Resources to lead our HR department. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of HR experience, demonstrating proficiency in all aspects of HR management, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compliance. This role offers a unique opportunity for an HR leader to develop new systems and processes, ensuring our company continues to grow and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and compliance with labor laws and regulations.

  • Develop and implement innovative HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the company's goals and objectives.

  • Lead the development and enhancement of HR systems and processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Provide strategic HR leadership and guidance to the executive team and department managers.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement, retention, and professional development.

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Manage employee relations issues, conducting investigations and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.

  • Oversee the development and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs.

  • Mentor and develop Managerial team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in human resources, with a proven track record of success in HR leadership roles.

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures, including payroll, benefits, employee relations, and compliance.

  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven experience in developing and enhancing HR systems and processes.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.

  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is highly desirable.
