The Mom Project is Hiring a Content Manager Near South San Francisco, CA

For more than 40 years, our Customer has been following science and seeking solutions to unmet medical needs. They are a biotechnology corporation that makes medicines to treat patients with serious medical conditions. Their goal is to use the power of genetic engineering and advanced technologies to make medicines that address unmet medical needs, and help millions of people worldwide.
We are seeking a Content Manager on a contract basis to help support our Customer’s business needs. This role is a hybrid setup with 2 days remote and 3 days onsite at our Customer's South San Francisco locationThe Content Manager will be responsible for leading content development, collaboration with stakeholders and subject matter experts, ongoing reviews of content for relevance, and engagement.
Responsibilities
  • Lead content development efforts (curation, repurposing existing content, net new content)
  • Work with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop content and ensure alignment
  • Drive engagement with marketers through relevant and high-quality content, fostering interactions within the community, and hands-on exercises
  • Create learning content for live learning events such as in person marketing meetings and lunch and learns
  • Conduct ongoing reviews of content to ensure its relevance, accuracy, and usefulness.
  • Update content as needed to reflect the latest information and industry trends.
  • Drive engagement with marketers.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Marketing, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry
  • Strong understanding of fundamental marketing concepts, strategies, and tactics
  • Proven experience in content management, development, and curation.
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills to work effectively with
  • stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of learning design and principles.
  • Experience working in the learning space.
