The Mom Project is Hiring an E-commerce Manager/Digital Merchandiser Near Morristown, NJ
The Mom Project is excited to partner with a well established and respected baby boutique now entering it’s 25 th year of business. Located in Morristown, NJ, our customer base extends into PA and NYC with the hope of growing nationally via e-commerce. We are a bountiful boutique offering the “modern mom” the best for baby from American and European designers. Our team of dynamic, energetic and knowledgeable moms and grandmas make shopping with us a fun and easy experience, whether helping to create a newborn baby registry list, buying that perfect gift or shopping for your little one. We are looking for an individual to grow our online presence while keeping true to our warm, instore our culture. The position would require some instore time to truly be a part of our team and work to build our brand through web and Google along with email marketing and alignment of our social media presence. Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To
Lead e-commerce strategy and growth by managing front and backend website operations on Big Commerce
Leverage Analytics and selling reports to understand and improve search optimization
Analyze customer behavior and make recommendations for improvement to ensure optimal user experience, functionality and performance
Develop and implement customer retention strategies to increase website conversion rates and improve online sales performance
Manage online site launches and promotional calendar from new product to current product including sales events respectful of seasonal/holiday changes
Monitor web traffic and interest in product/events to ensure consistent flow of high quality and relative content that aligns with our brand and culture
Ensure proper products are represented and active – product attributes and specifications are correctly referenced and pricing is inline with vendors
Maintain visual assets and compelling product description
Stay up to date on ecommerce industry trends relevant to our space on the web
Work Closely with in-store team on inventory management and communicate your developed strategies and plans for the web
Build and grow the new baby registry component of website via Google campaigns or in align with instore team
Work closely with store owner and inside team to create and analyze all email marketing and coordinate with Instagram, Facebook and Google presence to drive traffic to website and increase web sales.
Increase Google activity relative to web traffic
Use analysis to create new campaigns and marketing strategies based on previous events
Scale campaigns to maximize ROI and retail sales
Analyze, report on and implement the management of regular digital advertising, pay per click etc.
Required Skills
Experience in website merchandising and ecommerce platforms
Well organized and detail oriented
Strong ability to work both independently and with instore team members
Ability to work on the fly and implement/execute on sales and promotions in reaction to store inventory
Able to grasp customer behavior trends and generate creative ideas
Understanding of Google Ads, Analytics as related to small retail business including SEO/Email metrics and Google Advertising.
