We are seeking a Mail Room Operations Specialist on a contract basis to support their business needs. This role is onsite in Blue Ash, OH.You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and organized handling of incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and other deliveries.
Responsibilities

• Efficiently sorting and distributing incoming mail and packages to the appropriate departments or individuals
• Maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing mail and packages
• Safely handling and processing packages, ensuring proper documentation and tracking
• Collaborating with delivery services to coordinate timely and secure package deliveries
• Operating and maintaining mailroom equipment, such as postage meters, mail sorters, and other related tools
• Troubleshooting and resolving minor equipment issues or escalate as needed
• Communicating effectively with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of mail and packages
• \Notifying recipients of special deliveries or important mail
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures related to mail room operations
• Staying informed about shipping regulations and make recommendations for process improvements
• Implementing and maintaining security measures to safeguard sensitive mail and packages
• Collaborating with security personnel to address any mail-related security concerns
• Providing excellent customer service to employees and external contacts regarding mail-related inquiries
• Addressing and resolving issues related to mail and package deliveries

Qualifications

• Proven experience in mailroom operations or a related field
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and carry packages of various sizes
• Familiarity with mailroom equipment and software
• Additional education or certification in mailroom operations is a plus
