Enthusiastic, warm, personable candidate to handle calls from patients at a dermatology clinic. The position is a hybrid role with one day in office.
The ideal candidate would be able to describe common medical procedures to treat skin cancers and schedule patients for surgery. We will train the employee on describing the procedure and will provide a script along with answers to the most commonly asked questions. Therefore, while helpful, no previous medical or clinical experience is needed. In fact, a candidate from a retail, customer facing background without any medical or clinical experience could fit well with this role depending on the level of interest and engagement.
Data entry skills and general computer/office skills are essential for this position. Successful candidate must have excellent organizational and interpersonal skills coupled with strong communication skills to successfully interact with patients and the surgeon. The position requires a friendly personality and a calm demeanor in order to communicate effectively with patients.
