Fulltime/Part-time-Shift: Overnights 10pm-6am Weekends are a must

Description: Under the supervision of the Assistant Operations Director, the Intake/Med Aide is responsible for coordinating and completing intakes on new incoming clients, enter data into HMIS, monitor medications for clients, as well maintaining Intake office and Medication room clean and organized.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Represent MCCH in the community, in accordance with the agency’s mission and vision.

· Obtain and input all required client information into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) database

· Log, file and enter source documents and related data into client files, HMIS, and other data capture systems.

· Ensures that residents have all their basic supplies and needs such as toiletries, laundry detergent, etc.

· Provides a “listening” ear for residents.

· Provides emergency intervention in response to hostile situations and crisis.

· Monitors medication of residents

· Maintains Intake office/Medication room Organized and clean

· Update Medications logs as needed

· Checking and recording daily temperature logs for Medication Refrigerator

· Maintain an attitude of respect for residents of shelter.

· Monitors the conduct and behavior of residents, reporting any unusual and critical incidents to Case Aide Lead, Operation Director and Program Director.

· Performs other duties as assigned

· Attend and participate in mandatory training, staff meetings, and all other events, as required.

Requirements:

· High school graduate or GED.

· Minimum 6 to 12 months related experience. Will consider combination of qualifications equal to educational and work experience.

· Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment criminal background check.

· Knowledge and experience in administering CPR and minor first aid.

· Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships.

· Ability to maintain professional boundaries.

· Must be able to commit to a minimum of two shifts per week and arrive promptly for your shift.
