What You'll Do
Duties and responsibilities
  1. Communicates effectively and regularly with the executive team on project timelines, milestones, accomplishments, and deficiencies of business
  2. Creates workflow from property level to corporate level through effective processes.
  3. Provides support to properties to enhance customer service and knowledge of all applications and
  4. Executes and applies efficient budget processes.
  5. Performs other related duties as assigned by
  6. Facilitate management transition of new acquisitions, dispositions and third-party assignments by coordinating among all impacted Morgan departments.
  7. Work with leadership team to develop and implement technology standards and strategic initiatives across the portfolio (e.g., revenue management, utility recovery, smart home features, access control systems, energy efficiency initiatives, security systems, EV charger installation).
  8. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to portfolio.
  9. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform initiative development.
  10. Create project plans, timelines, and budgets for each initiative.
  11. Oversee project execution, track progress against milestones, and ensure delivery is on time, within scope, and within budget.
  12. Develop and present reports on project progress and performance metrics to senior management.
  13. Manage vendor selection, contract negotiation, and installation processes for technology solutions and other initiatives.
  14. Lead the integration of new technologies and initiatives with existing systems and workflows.
  15. Partner with internal stakeholders across Asset Management, to ensure successful technology and initiative implementation.
  16. Provide training and support to property management teams on the use of new technologies.
  17. Maintain clear and consistent communication with property management teams regarding technology and initiatives.
  18. Manage and Lead Learning and Development and System Training efforts. This includes writing and managing new curriculum.
Qualifications
The following qualifications must be met before consideration of the position of Vice President of Business Services:
    • Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/ or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Computer skills required: Accounting Software (RealPage); Development Software; Internet Software; Spreadsheet Software (Excel); Contract Management
    Design Software; Inventory Software; Order Processing Systems; Project Management Software; Word Processing Software (Word); Electronic Mail Software (Outlook); Presentation software (PowerPoint); and Publisher software.
    • Other skills required:
      • Preferred proficiency in products and applications for the following platforms:
        • Business Ops Software
        • YieldStar (Revenue Management Software)
        • Real Page/One Site
        • Yardi
        • Entrata
        • LMS Software (Implementation, and Management)
      • Internal/ External responds to requests for service and assistance and develops and maintains courteous and effective working relationships with clients, vendors and/ or any other representatives of external
Supervisory responsibilities
  1. Directly supervises employees within the Learning and Development and Support Services Department(s).
  2. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable
  3. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
