Company Products Project Development and Delivery Lead
This role is responsible for leading opportunity identification, business case development, stakeholder recruitment, execution, and performance of complex multi-disciplinary projects across North America Business with teams working across functions and geographies.
What will you do:
  • Develop and innovate new ideas/approaches while establishing procedures and practices for the co-product initiatives.
  • Prioritize, plan and lead project development activities according to customer requirements and business need from initiation to completion.
  • Oversee idea generation activities, develop project strategies and proposals, create business cases and implementation plans, identify project resources and support, define schedule and maintain budget and revenue targets.
  • Role will lead key projects with working portfolio throughout project cycle. In addition, position will lead and drive implementation efforts to meet established deliverables as prioritized by business.
  • Requires continuous assessment of priorities based on timelines and new initiative direction.
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify potential ideas via needs assessments and interviews.
  • Find potential opportunities to combine and optimize projects with overlap or synergies.
  • Maintain and provide suggestions for project development tracking and reporting in PPP.
  • Proactively engage and influence leaders and cross functional groups to operationalize and provide resources for co-product initiatives.
  • Drive external vendor negotiations and identification of best value for the company as needed.
  • Work with business to assemble project teams with business expertise.
  • Seek third party experts if necessary.
  • Lead team in the development and maintenance of comprehensive plans for a defined projects and initiatives to achieve objectives.
  • Understand and drive any change management will stakeholders depending on impacts on existing processes, procedures and owners to drive to bottom line results.
  • This role is responsible to collaborate with other internal functions to identify process, data and tool improvements including leading business process improvements and technology implementation projects as required.
  • Ensure stakeholder alignment and proactively identify risks mitigation plans to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Assess potential risks and technical challenges and develop appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Comply with internal policies or develop policies and procedures for new initiatives in collaboration with internal resources for risk evaluation.
  • Identify root causes and common issues and define/recommend solutions.
  • Support employee development and provide coaching for the active participants of project teams to convey the contributions to the success of the project to their respective management.
  • Develop and facilitate leadership presentations to introduce proposals.
  • Share and sell the vision gaining support/buy-in for how the success of the co-products aligns with long term goals for Mosaic.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for project(s).
  • Provide stakeholder updates on project milestones.
What will you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or Science related field (Geology, Chemistry)
  • 8 years related experience.
  • Mineral extraction technologies such as using solvents, CIC/CIX
  • Experience partnering closely with operations and functional teams
  • R&D experience in new product development
  • Prior experience leading projects, creating business cases and seeing project through cycle from initiation to completion.
  • Experience presenting proposals to leadership, communicating vision and value.
  • Demonstrated experience to drive to actionable outcomes and produce results through multiple teams of people in a matrix organization.
  • Knowledge in conducting beneficial reuse of waste products to new markets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience influencing leadership across functional areas.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with varying complexities, priorities and urgencies.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in easily understandable ways to a variety of levels of sponsors, stakeholders, and end users.
  • Strong Microsoft Office
Bonus if you have the following:
  • Operational, Geotechnical and/or Agricultural knowledge and experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience operationalizing and commercializing new product innovations preferred.
  • Experience in financial modeling.
  • Experience in handling radionuclides is a strong plus.
  • Joint development contract and negotiation experience a plus.
  • Environmental regulatory requirements for beneficial reuse of waste.
  • Stage Gate experience a plus
