We are hiring a Clinical Research Coordinator to work with Dr. Carrie Esopenko and Dr. Maria Kajankova!

The Clinical Research Coordinator will be involved in studies examining the effects of interpersonal trauma and/or brain injury on mental, cognitive, and neurological health in civilians and Veterans. They will be responsible for completing participant recruitment, informed consent, and participant assessments, as well as study organization including data collection and curation. They will also assist with the preparation and submission of grant applications and regulatory documents (e.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and Contracts Office). This work will be under the supervision of the Principal Investigators (Drs. Esopenko and Kajankova) and senior clinical research staff. 

Responsibilities

• Will conduct routine and standardized human subjects research using appropriate research or interview techniques specific to subject matter of the research project, under direct supervision of the Principal Investigators and senior clinical research staff.
• Will assist with the activities related to Drs. Esopenko’s and Kajankova’s clinical research including, but not limited to participant recruitment, enrolling participants in studies, obtaining informed consent, screening participants for eligibility, administering questionnaires and assessments, and answering telephone calls.
• Assists in the collection, analysis and review of experimental data for publication and presentation, as well as development of grant applications. 
• Maintains source documents and subject files in accordance with Mount Sinai policies and procedures. Ensures accurate, confidential and complete compilation of data.
• Performs other related duties

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in science or related field preferred or a combination of relevant research experience and education
• 0-2 years of research/human subjects experience
