A fun family of 5 is seeking a responsible and organized Nanny/Household Manager to oversee the smooth running of the household, and assist with childcare. The ideal candidate is someone who’s mature, proactive, energetic, great with communication, nurturing, and who has a love for serving families. This role requires flexibility, multitasking abilities, and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks to ensure the success of their busy household. The ideal candidate must also be travel ready, and have knowledge of working with an African American family.

The schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with the possibility of another day. The pay rate is $25-30/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Provide childcare services as needed
• Manage household tasks, including scheduling appointments, grocery shopping, managing household inventory, and errands.
• Help with maintaining flow of the home, assist with laundry, light housekeeping, and general home organization.
• Assist with meal prep, grocery shopping, and cooking as needed.
• Plan and oversee children's activities, including playdates, sports, appointments, and assist with homework help.
• Manage children's schedules, including transportation to and from appointments, school, and after-school activities.
• Provide support for additional small projects, and tasks as assigned
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the children
• Maintain open communication and provide support with household management.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 years of nanny and household management experience
• Experience with school aged children and project management
• Experience in managing household inventory and vendors
• Flexible schedule with a willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while always keeping calm under pressure.
• First aid and CPR certification up to date.
• Undergo and pass a background check
• Reliable transportation and clean driving history.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week

• Day shift
• Evening shift
