- Strong knowledge of Human Resources practices, including employee hiring, training, coaching, and termination procedures
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and delegate tasks
- Excellent organizational and decision-making abilities with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other HR software systems
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical issues in simple terms
- Professional demeanor with a strong work ethic and problem-solving aptitude

- The Manager of Human Resources will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, fostering a positive work culture, and supporting the growth and development of our team members
- Maintain and update all policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Lead the recruitment process, including creating job postings, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and conducting employment background checks
- Facilitate salary negotiations and execute employment offers
- Conduct new employee orientation and provide ongoing support and training
- Manage employee separations and terminations, including conducting exit interviews and handling written counseling notices
- Keep job descriptions updated for all positions within the organization
- Administer work-related injury procedures and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with department heads to address interdepartmental issues and promote effective communication
- Assist in maintaining current licenses, permits, insurances, and certifications
- Oversee the performance evaluation process and establish annual performance goals for staff members
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and manage the flow of personnel information between departments
- Develop, review, and suggest changes to Human Resources policies and procedures as needed
- Provide reports on Human Resources activities as requested by the supervisor
- Pursue continuing education programs to stay updated on industry best practices and regulations
