They are seeking someone who is a self-starter that can hit the ground running, caring for their daughter full-time. Must be able to commute to-and-from work efficiently. MUST be a team player that will work alongside and with the family and other staff, defering all decision-making to the parent. While open to nationwide candidates, family would prefer someone who is familiar with the area.
They are ideally looking for someone who is of good character, sound judgment and a nurturing, positive spirit. Someone who holds themselves to a high standard and is a team player by nature! You will manage all things related to the child, under the supervision of the parent. They are hoping to find a candidate who is energetic and happy to match their childs energy level and be a positive light in their child's l i fe. Researched knowledge of developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities for their child will be expected. Strong communication skills and professionalism will be prerequisites; must be able to read a room and understand boundaries. Bilingual would be a plus but not a requirement! This is a great opportunity for a career nanny seeking a long-term position that will evolve over time as their child grows.
While there will be housekeeping outside of this position to maintain the home, the nanny will be expected to handle any laundry, cleaning, and organizing as it relates to the child. Common areas and the chil's spaces will be expected to be cleaned throughout the end and at the end of each day. Tasks such as gathering items that the child has outgrown, like clothing and toys, for storage or donation (per the parents direction) will be a part of this role. Additionally, maintaining the childs daily schedule, cooking and preparing age-appropriate meals while expanding a healthy food palate, and participating in or transporting to-and-from school and activities will be required. Must have a clean driving record and valid license; a family car will be provided. Communication will be key, and deference to the parent for making decisions is a must. Drama and unprofessional behavior are not welcome; cell phones are not to be used during work hours unless work-related.
The current ideal schedule is Monday - Friday from 9/10 AM - 6/7 PM, with the flexibility needed for possible extra hours, overnights, and/or travel. The nanny MUST be able to travel with the family often and as needed, both domestically and internationally. For example, they have a home in Montana that they will travel to often throughout the year. Private accommodations will be provided when traveling with the family. Ideally, the nanny will be able to swim with the child as well.
Start date is ASAP. Pay is $50/hour gross pay, pre-overtime and via payroll. Covid vaccine and boosters as well as all child-related vaccines are required. Paid vacation and sick leave will be discussed during the interview process; holidays may be required due to the parents work schedule and will be compensated accordingly.
