Overview:
The Accounts Payable Supervisor will join a team of 100 purpose-driven staff members in a friendly, focused, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. The National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS) is the largest accredited leadership honor society in the US, with over 700 chapters and more than 1.5 million members.
The Accounts Payable Supervisor will be responsible for managing critical aspects of our Accounts Payable process to ensure we provide accurate and timely Accounts Payable reports and financial reports. The Accounts Payable Supervisor will manage the Jr Accountant and will report to the Accounting Manager. This role will be part of the Finance Team and is an integral part of our processes.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the AP system (RAMP) and the integration with accounting system (NetSuite).
- Managing the day-to-day AP process including review and verification of invoices and check requests.
- Managing the company's RAMP expense management process including review and verification of corporate card expenses and reimbursements to ensure expense policies are followed.
- Ensures proper GL coding of invoices, corporate card expenses and reimbursements.
- Respond to AP inquiries from both vendors and NSLS team members in a timely manner.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in billings and payments.
- Providing of daily AP Aging reports to Accounting Manager.
- Assisting in creation of AP policies, improving AP processes and identify cost-savings opportunities.
- Provide guidance to the Junior Staff Accountant.
- Work on special projects as requested.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors in accounting or equivalent experience, is required.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable.
- At least 1-3 years of supervisory experience, demonstrating capability as a supervisor.
- Needs to be proficient in Excel, Google Sheets and if possible, RAMP and NetSuite.
