The Director of Command Center and Nursing Support Services will develop and strategically direct effective systems nursing support services and the inpatient command structure and their associated patient populations to ensure optimal customer outcomes, enhance service delivery goals, meet or exceed financial margins, and contribute to achievement of the organization's mission and strategic goals. Administer 24 hour accountability for patient care delivery, human resources management, and compliance with private, state and federal regulations for all services areas. Ensure adequate resources to support nursing support services. Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the command center operations. Collaborate with department heads and key stakeholders to develop and implement proactive solutions to address capacity challenges and streamline processes. Raise capacity management issues to appropriate leaders and help address them in a timely manner. Continuously evaluate and improve command center processes and protocols to adapt to changing circumstances and optimize performance. Act as a liaison between the command center team and other departments, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. Prepare and present regular reports on command center operations, including key performance metrics and areas for improvement. Collaboration with IT to create and enhance software systems to improve clinical operations. Responsibility for coordination of virtual care strategies and execution throughout the health system and with external stakeholders. Required Qualifications:• Minimum of ten years healthcare or related business experience required including experience in utilization of IT software systems to manage operations.• Minimum of five years leadership experience required.• Bachelor's degree in nursing, related healthcare, or business required.• Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences, internal and external stakeholders, required.• Ability to lead others through development and empowerment required.• Ability to establish order and perform multifunction's in a complex, changing environment required.• Ability to manage change in a fast-paced environment is required.• Demonstrate an integral systems approach to complex problem solving required.• Effective analytical, business, and marketing skills required.• Knowledge of business and health administration and information technology management required.• Ability to execute strategic plan is required.• Results oriented required.• Collaborative problem solver with a comprehensive understanding of outstanding customer services is required.• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.• Currently holds a professional healthcare license as required in accordance with appropriate degree required. Preferred Qualifications:• Master's degree in nursing, related healthcare or management/business preferred.
