Nelson Stark, one of the most successful plumbing contracting companies based in Cincinnati area, is growing and seeking new talent.
The BIM Coordinator will play an integral role in our drafting team. This individual will work closely with the BIM (Building Information Modeling) team and will be heavily involved in all modeling efforts for 3D coordination, shop drawings and spooling. We are seeking someone who can multi-task and work in a fun and very fast paced environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Detailed understanding of all construction blueprints (architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and special systems)
· Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications
· Generate RFI’s to be submitted to the design team when required
· Apply changes to as-built drawings
· Work with other team members to complete drawings and models as required to meet project schedules
· Maintain organization of files for all drawings and project documents
· Communicate with field personnel, when required, to ensure that fabrication and installation intent is clearly communicated on shop and spool drawings
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· Working knowledge of Basic AutoCAD
· Autodesk Fabrication CADMep, Naviswoks Manage, Revit, and BIM 360 are a plus
· Working knowledge of Bluebeam Revu
· Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
· Ability to manage multiple tasks to meet project deadlines
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Self-motivated to learn more and help in different areas
· Assess options and make appropriate recommendations
Qualifications:
· Minimum of High School diploma required
· Associates Degree in Drafting Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology or equivalent preferred
· Piping and Plumbing trade experience is a plus
