About the Role
The Identity team builds and maintains a world-class authentication platform that enables the creation and continued access of millions of user accounts, as securely as possible. Becoming a registered user is a very important first step of our customer journey, we support our subscription business model by providing the platforms necessary for all product teams to maintain a unique user experience for our readers. We always aim to be the experts in Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) technologies, so that we can engineer pragmatic solutions designed to keep our user login and registration experience as smooth, reliable, and secure as possible.
We are looking for a creative engineer to contribute to the development of our next-generation identity platforms used by hundreds of millions of New York Times readers on a daily basis. You will build user-based systems that serve as a foundation to fuel many other services within the Times, with some of the most challenging performance and availability requirements. You will report to the Sr Engineering Manager of Identity, Core Platforms.
