About The JobThis substitute food service worker position will be working in a local school kitchen/cafeteria on an as-needed basis.
Duties May Include
Monday through Friday, no evenings, weekends, summers or Holidays!
Our substitute positions are a perfect fit for someone who needs flexibility in their schedule! You pick the days you can work! Our permanent positions are hired from our sub list and have the added benefits of PTO, substantial pay increase, and the ability to collect unemployment in the summer!
About The JobThis substitute food service worker position will be working in a local school kitchen/cafeteria on an as-needed basis.
Duties May Include
- Cooking and food preparation
- Portioning and serving food
- Sanitation in conjunction with USDA and state guidelines
- HAACP and health department regulation compliance
- Assisting to monitor costs and inventory controls
- Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks
- Ability to read recipes and basic math skills required
- A positive and consistent work ethic
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- A willingness to learn and grow within your position
- Food service experience preferred
- Computer literacy preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Standing for long periods of time
- Sitting, pushing, pulling
- Lifting up to and in excess of 40lbs
- Walking
