Our client, Industrial Shadeports, is looking for an on-site Accounting and HR Manager in the Fort Lauderdale market! Industrial Shadeports designs, manufactures and installs custom shade structures. Our beautiful protective canopies are used in all kinds of settings from playgrounds to car washes! The accounting function includes maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, processing and collecting customer invoices, paying vendors, FL Sales tax returns, filing 1099’s, reconciliations and other accounting duties. The HR function includes processing and managing payroll and managing employee benefits and insurance for our factory, office and installation teams. Requirements
Experience in accounting, finance and payroll processes
Knowledge of human resources (HR) management and employee benefits
Strong knowledge of small business operations and challenges
Superior project management and negotiation skills for internal and external purposes
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Microsoft Office applications and other business systems
Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to solve problems and improve processes
A team player with a positive attitude, highly motivated and organized
Ability to take charge of situations, make decisions and meet deadlines without prompting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey information and ideas in a variety of media to a diverse audience.
Experience in the construction industry is a plus
3 years experience in Accounting
