Job TitleSpeech Language Pathology Fellow DepartmentHealth Sciences | Nisonger Center Functions as a Speech and Language Pathology Fellow in the Nisonger Early Learning Program within the Nisonger Center as part of a clinical fellowship leading to certification of clinical competence from the American Speech and Language Association under supervision of ASHA certified Speech Language Pathologist; provides speech-language pathology services to children enrolled in early intervention (EI) and/or early childhood special education (ESCS) services in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team; provides support for child care providers and teachers regarding language, communication, feeding, and other oral-motor needs of children under their care; completes developmental screening and progress assessments for children on caseload; completes and maintains required documentation for provision of services to children on caseload; participates in ongoing professional development and program development activities as a part of a transdisciplinary EI team. This position will work flexible hours Monday-Friday 7:00am-7:00pm depending on the needs of the family or care providers for the children served. Must have personal transportation and a valid driver’s license for travel within Franklin County. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Master's Degree in Speech Pathology. Ohio Conditional Licensure in Speech Pathology required. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post offer process.
