Scope of PositionThe Revenue Cycle for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is responsible for providing excellent customer service while processing patient demographic and insurance information efficiently and accurately. The primary responsibility of student assistants is to assist patients in finding their way around the medical center, escorting them to destinations and some light clerical work. The Registration Department is responsible for collecting and distributing patient medical information on a daily basis to ensure it is available prior to a patient’s arrival at clinical treatment areas.
Position SummaryThe Student Administrative Assistant will greet patients on arrival, manage patient flow and queuing, escort patients to treatment locations, and provide administrative/ office support to the department. This position is mobile and involves walking/standing throughout the shift.
