DepartmentAthletics | Baseball Men
Job DescriptionInstructs and teaches athletes in fundamentals of baseball, coaches technique and strategy. Assists in selection of team members and recruiting activities in compliance with conference, NCAA, and OSU rules and regulations. Assists the head coach in the coordination of administrative areas of program management including, but not limited to, scheduling of competitions and practices, travel plans, equipment. Monitors academic progress of student athletes; audits information from academic support services, ensures compliance with conference, NCAA, and University rules and regulations.
Minimum Education RequiredBachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional Education DesiredMaster's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required QualificationsCoaching experience and extensive knowledge of the sport of Baseball required. Position requires working with a diverse population and travelling extensively during recruiting process.
Knowledge and experience working with NCAA rules and regulations desired.
Position may require the completion of a criminal background check.
