Department:Business and Finance | Tech Hub
Responsible for marketing Tech Hub’s brand, product offerings, and services to The Ohio State University’s campus community. This includes control of the store’s social media presence, website banners/articles, events, signage, and related outreach. Individual will work closely with store manager and vendor representatives to ensure all required guidelines are closely adhered to. Thoughtful analysis of sales data and customer feedback is crucial. The person in this role will play an integral part in all aspects of the store’s strategic marketing plan and vision for the future. Secondary duties include customer service on retail sales floor and by phone/email; general supervision of sales floor operations; basic IT support for customers; coordination with vendor representatives.
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED. One (1) year of relevant experience.
Desired Qualifications:Experience in marketing and retail sales; ability to handle multiple tasks; works independently; detail oriented; ability to make decisions and follow guidelines. Graphic design abilities; working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products, specifically Photoshop and InDesign; merchandising and product display experience; background in event planning and execution.
Additional Information:Hours and days off may vary. This position requires repetitive standing.
