We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our Dermatology clinic located in NW Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate who is personable, dependable, organized, detail oriented, ability to shift roles as needed, and dedicated to high quality patient care.
Primary duties include assisting dermatologists in various clinical procedures such as patch testing, NBUVB, Photodynamic therapy, and wound care; conducting phlebotomy procedures; providing hands-on patient care; clerical support tasks such as handling prior authorizations for treatments and medications, ensuring smooth approval processes; managing prescription refills; maintaining organized patient records and updating medical histories; addressing patient inquiries via phone and scheduling appointments.
Workdays will be Monday - Friday, 7:30AM-4:30PM. No weekends! 8 paid holidays! Free onsite parking in a secure garage!
Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:

• Medical Assistant - $19.49 - $26.37 per hour.
• Credentialed Medical Assistant
  Level I - $21.66- $29.30 per hour.
  Level II - $23.82 - $32.23 per hour.
  Level III - $26.21 - $35.46 per hour.

Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications :

• Current healthcare provider CPR certification required
• Prior EMR experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting
• Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
