Primary Role:  We are looking for a full-time quality fabricator/welder to join our team. The primary role of the position is to visualize, measure, layout and fabricate ornamental stair railings, stairs, spiral staircases and all other custom steel fabricated projects to specification and to oversee the installation of the finished product into the "job site"

Job responsibilities:

• Alongside the General Manager, read plans, field measure specific job sites and detail the specifications needed to produce railings and or other metal projects as detailed by the customers
• Lay-out materials, cut and fabricate/weld project to exacting specifications as determined by architectural plans and field measurements. 
• Produce strong, clean welds and test output to ensure strength and tolerance of welds.
• Track material usage and time associated with each project for accurate billing and report all to the General Manager
• Fill out delivery sheet and tags for delivery of finished project to powder coater along with all fasteners
• Secure projects on trailer to deliver and pick up projects from powder coaters as completed 
• With confirmation and direction scheduling from General Manager move project to the job site and install per the architectural design
• Keep workplace, trucks, and tools clean and serviceable at all times to assure safety in the workplace 
• Wear appropriate safety equipment, including eye protection, gloves and apron. 

Job Requirements and skills: 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience welding, in a manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with common welding tools and procedure, including MIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals
• Ability to stand crouch and lift heavy materials
• Blueprint reading and knowledge of welding symbols
• Proficient in basic math
• Must have valid drivers license
