The Orvionix Group is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist (Temporary) Near Norfolk, MA

Our client, a nonprofit in Norfolk County, MA, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist (Temporary) responsible for assisting in the management and oversight of daily financial operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, process, and distribute A/R invoices via US Mail and email.
  • Audit all A/R invoicing information to ensure accounts contain correct information.
  • Manage vendor files and ensure vendors have completed W-9 forms on file, where applicable.
  • Manage the current contract list and contracts, ensuring current certificates of liability insurance for appropriate vendors who perform work on-site.
  • Post payments from school deposits by verifying payment information into the appropriate revenue account.
  • Collect/receive money from various campuses and groups.
  • Maintain collection and follow up on payments due.
  • Work with families on payment checks to recover funds.
  • Process unclaimed checks.
  • Collaborate with various departments to obtain student activity information.
  • Compose and mail collection letters.
  • Make daily deposits at the bank.
  • Process all financial aid applications for student services.
  • Prepare determination letters for the Director of Finance's approval.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of detail-oriented accounts receivable experience with the ability to handle high volume.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Capacity to maintain a professional and friendly customer service demeanor.
  • Working knowledge of Excel functions and other Microsoft Office.
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and trustworthiness.
