The Outreach Program is Hiring a Regional Event Director Near Des Moines, IA

As a Regional Event Director, you'll have the opportunity to use your passion for helping others to plan and execute events that raise awareness for food insecurity and help our clients make a difference in the lives of others.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management of partner accounts·
  • Travel throughout the assigned region and some across the United States
  • Customizing event experiences for our partners from start to finish
  • Event management
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs frequently and be able to load and unload pallets

Skillset

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently from general instructions and broad work expectations
  • Keen attention to detail as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Salesforce
  • Self-confident, flexible, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively with a variety of staff

Benefits and Compensation:

  • This is a base plus commission salaried position
  • Hours are expected to vary from time to time, but standard hours will be Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with the flexibility to work nights and weekends per event schedules

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evenings as needed
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to Relocate:

  • Des Moines, IA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
