The Clinic Coordinator is the first point of contact for participants and their caregivers for anything related to the Clinic. Under the supervision of the Clinical Manager, in this role, you will be coordinating appointments within the clinic, answering questions / phones, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to the clinic team.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Answers phone and documents as in systems as appropriate
- Educates participants / caregivers on services, answers questions, and develops relationships with participants and caregivers.
- Gathers and enters information into the EMR
- Schedules appointments for PACE clinic and revises schedule as needed
- Monitors clinic schedule daily, making changes to schedules based on participant, caregiver, and/or clinic needs
- Reports complaints to PACE Clinical Manager and/or Administrator.
- Informs the APRN or other clinic staff of any unusual, problematic participant/caregiver concerns or issues
- Assists with orientation of new employees
- Reviews / audits medical records to ensure appropriate documentation is completed after each visit.
- Provide housekeeping assistance in turning over participant exam rooms prior to and after each visit
- Successfully complete the annually required compliance and in-service training.
- Provide quality customer service to the participants and fellow colleagues in a professional manner.
- Attend regular staff meetings as scheduled.
- Participate in emergency disaster processes as defined by policy.
- Demonstrate familiarity with policies/procedures and follows state and federal regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the confidentiality of all company procedures, results and information about clients and families.
- Maintain a safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education
Any combination of education and experience that would provide required skills and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying. Typical qualifications would be equivalent to:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Current CNA certification in Florida or completion of a 75-hour Home Health Aide training program
- CPR certification from an instructor or training provider approved to provide CPR by the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, the National Safety Council, or an organization whose training is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Pre-Hospital Continuing Education
- Current State of Florida Driver's license with driving record acceptable to company's insurance carrier.
- Reliable transportation that allows employees to travel between participants locations.
- Current Auto Insurance Card
- Current TB testing, immunization or declination for Hepatitis B and flu.
- AHCA Level II background screening
- Have 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population OR, if the individual has less than 1 year of experience but meets all other job requirements, the candidate must receive appropriate training from the PACE organization on working with a frail or elderly population upon hiring.
- Meet a standardized set of competencies for the specific position description established by the PACE organization before working independently.
- Knowledge of principles, practices, standards, and techniques of a CNA
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions for a safe work environment
- Ability to communicate and establish rapport with participants / families.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Ability to maintain participant confidentiality at all times
- Skilled in establishing and maintain effective working relationships with participants, co-workers, medical staff, and the public
- Basic Computer literacy
