Position Summary:
The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for collaborating with the Property Manager to ensure efficiency and compliance with overall management of site operations at multiple locations.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include: (but are not limited to)
· Maintains upkeep of grounds, parking lots, building exteriors, amenities, office and other community buildings regularly at all assigned properties.
· Performs check of equipment to be operated and assure it is in a safe operating condition. Perform minor maintenance and periodic maintenance to equipment, as required.
· Assists in the completion of any projects, including planning, supply procurement, constructing, cleaning and removing trash from project site.
· Identifies and reports maintenance and appearance concerns for upkeep and repairs on exteriors, grounds, and/or other common areas at assigned properties.
· Assists property management staff with work order requests from the principals.
· Operate light equipment, dump truck, variety of hand tools and power equipment.
· Install, maintain and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems, construct items related to wood or metal fabrication, welding within ability or notify supervisor of situation outside technical ability,
· Follow Property Management Preventive Maintenance Programs for all equipment, homes vehicles and any other systems.
· Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Valid Driver’s License.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Detail oriented and highly organized
· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Basic knowledge of mechanical operating procedures and processes.
· Ability to lift 75 pounds.
· Willingness to work in all weather conditions.
