§ The Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) position is a part-time (less than 20 hours, schedule will vary; possible evenings, weekends and holidays) staff role that requires a certified, experienced person to teach a variety of group fitness classes.

Seeking instructors with versatility to teach and sub multiple programs.

§ The GFI interacts enthusiastically with members before, during and after class. The GFI gives concise and consistent cueing during class, using the microphone effectively and rotating music and routines to give members a fresh class, continually learning and improving personal skills/knowledge specific to instruction.

§ The Primary Job Function of this position is to create and deepen relationships with members that will add value to their membership and enhance their sense of belonging and community within the club.

§ This position has a variety of job functions in order to successfully perform Group Fitness classes including but not limited to: before and after class duties, proper music selection, recording attendance, and designing appropriate exercise routines. This position reports directly to the Group Fitness Director and must follow all Peak Policy and Principles.

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:
