Job Description
We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our team! We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2-3 years experience providing desktop support in a corporatte seeting preferably finacial services or trading floor. This is a long term indefintie contract role with 40 hours per week required/expected.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software
- Mid Level expeerience with Win10 OS, MS Teams, MS 365 Products, Iphone Basics, Wyse Terminals
- Unsterdantding of Virtualization, VDI theaory, hands on experience with AV equipment
- Build laptops and desktops
- Resolve issues for clients via phone, in person, or electronically
- Recommend hardware and software improvements
- Track customer issues and resolutions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in IT, customer service, or other related fields specifically financial services
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability to communicate effectively with a mangement team that is not onsite
- Excellent punctuality and attendance
- Relaible commuincation
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Positive and professional demeanor
