Join Our Team! Independent Canvasser for The Peoples Action in Detroit
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your community? The Peoples Action, a dynamic non-profit organization, is seeking dedicated individuals to join us as Independent Canvassers in the vibrant city of Detroit.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct awareness campaigns in designated neighborhoods within Detroit.
- Distribute informational materials and answer questions from the public concerning tax-foreclosure.
- Conduct door-to-door canvassing.
Requirements:
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid car insurance.
- Own a cell phone for communication and reporting purposes.
- Proficient in using technology for data collection and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about community engagement and social issues.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
