The Performance Group is now searching for a dedicated, guest focused retail store manager. The store manager is responsible for safeguarding company standards through: proper training of team members, providing excellent customer service to deliver an exceptional experience for each guest, maintaining a clean, organized, safe and upbeat environment, and communicating regularly with store owners.

Essential Functions:

• Onboarding/training of new team members
• Plan and execute staff meetings, including informal check ins, yearly reviews, and disciplinary action when necessary
• Participate with inventory counting, adjusting, and discrepancy corrections
• Generating an annual labor and sales budget
• Review of operational reports (sales, labor, gross profit, inventory) and making corrections when needed
• Possessing complete knowledge of all product lines and the ability to convey this knowledge to guests and team members alike
• Oversee all forms of monetary transactions
• Schedule, monitor and manage the store’s social media outlets, shop parties, and special events
• Leading team by example, including regularly maintaining a presence on the sales floor

Qualifications:

• Ability to consistently deliver an exceptional, individual experience for each guest
• High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
• 3 years previous experience in management/sales role in retail environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Strong organizational skills and coachability
• High level of confidentiality and ethical conduct
