We represent fintech, alternative investments marketplace looking to hire a Global Employment Attorney to join the Legal team. The ideal candidate can work globally across all Human Resources (HR) related functions, help manage external contractual relationships, and supervise outside counsel. Expertise in employee relations, compensation, benefits, HR compliance, litigation management and transactional matters is essential. This role will work closely with both our General Counsel, our Chief People Officer, and other attorneys within our Legal group.
Responsibilities
• Work with HR to resolve disciplinary, work performance and policy related issues.
• Negotiate offer letters and separation and release agreements globally.
• Help establish and hire a broad range of international offices.
• Conduct internal investigations with respect to employee allegations and claims.
• Supervise HR related claims and litigation and interface with the relevant insurers.
• Organize workers compensation insurance globally.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of Human Resources related contracts.
Qualifications
• 6 years of relevant experience within a top-tier law firm and/or in-house at a technology or financial services firm, or within a related industry
• Familiar with technology companies is a plus
