As an Accountant at The Pharmacy Hub, you will play a critical role in ensuring our financial operations are accurate, efficient, and aligned with our business goals. You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and payable, invoicing clients, and providing detailed financial reports. Your expertise in the latest accounting methods and Excel automation will be essential in enhancing our financial processes and supporting our executive team with valuable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Receivable (A/R):
• Accurately invoice clients and manage timely collections.
• Monitor and reconcile customer accounts.
• Prepare and distribute A/R aging reports.
• Accounts Payable (A/P):
• Accurately book A/P in coordination with relevant departments.
• Process and reconcile supplier invoices.
• Manage and maintain vendor relationships.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Generate cash flow statements and analyze financial performance.
• Provide detailed financial reports to the executive team, highlighting areas for improvement.
• Excel Automation:
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel formulas and macros.
• Automate financial reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Train team members on Excel best practices and automation techniques.
• Process Improvement:
• Identify and implement process improvements within the accounting department.
• Collaborate with various departments to streamline financial operations.
• Stay updated on the latest accounting methods and technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or relevant certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and macros.
• Strong understanding of the latest accounting methods and practices.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

Required Skills:
- Proficiency in account reconciliation and journal entries
- Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation
- Experience in financial auditing and public accounting practices
- Familiarity with Sage or similar accounting software
- Ability to perform account analysis efficiently

Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of accrual accounting principles
- Experience in private equity accounting
- Budgeting skills for financial planning
