Job Description:
Responsible for ensuring the robustness of regression testing methods, scripts, operational tracking, and issue resolution for critical applications deployed across the firm.
Lead the design, implementation, integration, deployment, and ongoing support of new Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) desktop and server applications tailored for business needs.
Ensure seamless testing, implementation, and transition to a stable production environment.
Serve as a technical analyst with expertise in orchestrating complex, multi-phase server application integration and implementation projects, collaborating across departments and managing diverse resources.
Develop comprehensive engineering specifications and documentation as required.
Effectively communicate project status and essential business insights to both senior management and internal stakeholders.
Provide advanced, third-level escalation support for the department's software service catalog.
Act as the primary System Engineer for business-facing desktop and server applications, including the seamless handover of responsibilities to Desktop Engineers.
Uphold and implement industry best practices through a structured Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology encompassing software design, development, testing, and deployment on server applications.
Experience:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or possess relevant business experience.
Previous exposure to iManage or similar Document Management Systems is advantageous.
Familiarity with the Intapp product suite is a plus.
Demonstrated technical proficiency across:
Current Microsoft operating systems
Windows configuration, analysis, and engineering
Network connectivity and analysis
Software configuration, analysis, and implementation
Microsoft Office desktop environment administration, architecture, suite dependencies, features, and operational support
Document Management application methods, including third-party integrations
SQL database environments, with basic knowledge of SQL syntax, queries, and database structures
Ability to define project scopes and objectives based on business requirements.
Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and adapt seamlessly to shifting demands.
Strong service orientation and adeptness in cultivating and maintaining productive relationships with peers, management, system users, and other departmental stakeholders.
