Face to Face Health and Counseling is a non-profit organization dedicated to meeting the needs of youth ages 1124. We offer health care, counseling, and programs for youth experiencing homelessness. The Hotel Coordinator position is a temporary position focused on coordinating basic needs services for youth experiencing homelessness who are temporarily housed in a local hotel.

This position is 37.5 hours a week and requires availability on evenings and weekends.

**Responsibilities**

Take part in the planning and implementation of all hotel daily activities. Manage the hotels food service operations, including coordinating with Drop-in Supervisor for meal planning and preparing/serving. Coordinate volunteer food donations. Coordinate schedules and communication among all Face to Face hotel staff, ensuring 24-hour staffing at the hotel. Serve as hiring manager for Hotel Advocates. Assist in the training of all Hotel Advocates. Supervise Hotel Advocates managing schedules, tasks, priorities, and performance. Develop, cultivate and maintain relationships with hotel staff and Ramsey County hotel program staff. Ensuring the daily operations of the hotel are of quality and align with the agencys mission. Engage with youth at the center in a meaningful and respectful manner while assisting them with various resources and support. Respond to crises and de-escalate situations in a calm and professional manner. Lead team in debriefing incidents from a trauma-informed and restorative justice approach. Work closely with the Manager of Homeless Youth Programs, Case Management Supervisor and SafeZone Case Management Supervisor to support youth and staff. Collaborate with all staff and maintain positive teamwork style. Provides all services guided by the evidence-based principles for helping youth overcome homelessness. Comply with agencys written employment policies. Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**

QUALIFICATIONS: B.A. in social work, youth development, or related-field required Minimum of 2 years work experience working with the homeless or at-risk youth Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and competing priorities; High degree of problem-solving skill; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work sensitively and effectively with diverse populations; Ability to work independently, exercising good judgment and involving others when necessary; Good crisis management skills and the ability to navigate stressful situations well; and Positive attitude and ability to work with and motivate a team A valid drivers license and current automobile insurance are required
