Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our Physical Therapy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and ensuring timely reimbursement. We are a PT Private Practice that opened in 1986.

Responsibilities:
- Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
- Check each insurance payment for accuracy and compliance with contract discount
- Call insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary
- Review EOBs, remittance advice, and denials for resolution
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance guidelines and regulations

Qualifications:

-Our Practice uses WebPT/Therabill Software. Knowledge of this software a HUGE plus
- Proficiency in medical billing software
- Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG, and medical coding
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical records
- Experience in medical office billing and collections
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
