HR Generalist at The Place: 

• Partner with the regional operations/ clinical team on all people operations matters (employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, etc.) 
• Support managers and employees through coaching on employee relations issues, policy, or benefits questions. Provide clear and accurate advice promptly.
• Conduct investigations, documenting, and recommending corrective actions due to policy violations such as harassment and reasonable suspicion.
• Assist the People Ops team on payroll, leave of absence, workers comp, leadership development, and training,
• Create and support talent management initiatives including performance evaluations, talent reviews, succession planning, training/leadership development.
• Foster a culture of engagement, inclusivity, and continuous improvement. 
• Assist with facilitating new hire orientations while creating a positive first impression of the company and serving as a role model for company principals.
• Champion employee well-being, work-life balance, and professional development. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred 
• 2 years of experience leading or working autonomously on employee relations, employee engagement, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management
• PHR or SHRM – CP certification preferred
• Paylocity HRIS experience preferred 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Employee Relations and Performance Management 
• Ability to build trusting relationships and collaborate with employees throughout the entire organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Works comfortably under pressure and meets required deadlines.
• Assist with LOA, FMLA, STD, and Worker’s Comp claims.
