Job Summary:
Seeking a Human Resource Generalist to provide comprehensive HR support to our employee population, consisting of 270 employees across various roles. This position will play a crucial role in supporting both manufacturing office and the remote sales team.
Responsibilities:
Support Manufacturing and Remote Sales Teams: Serve as the primary HR contact for approximately 100 manufacturing employees and our remote U.S. sales team. Provide full-range HR support to manufacturing employees and focus on benefits inquiries and broader HR matters for the remote sales team.
Employee Relations: Handle employee relations matters and act as a resource for employees seeking guidance or information related to their employment, benefits, or payroll.
Talent and Development Projects: Drive HR projects focused on talent development, including formalizing development for managers, succession planning, and career development programs.
Process Improvement: Collaborate on HR-related process improvements, particularly in change management initiatives and other operational enhancements.
Legal Liaison: Serve as the liaison between legal counsel and employees on immigration-related matters, ensuring compliance and support where needed.
Open Enrollment Coordination: Assist with open enrollment activities, including answering employee questions, coordinating with the benefits broker for training sessions, and providing information sessions on new benefits.
Managerial Support: Coach and counsel managers on year-end reviews and compensation planning processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and HR policies.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience as an HR Generalist, ideally with exposure to supporting hourly employee populations. Experience in manufacturing environments and with remote sales teams is highly desirable.
Knowledge: Familiarity with year-end reviews, compensation planning, and performance reviews. Experience with talent development initiatives is a plus.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.
Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze HR issues, propose solutions, and drive process improvements effectively.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is preferred.
