Exterior Horticulture Services Leader
Seeking experienced, knowledgable, energetic person to lead our team in exterior services
Order, schedule, receive, tag and direct installation of five seasons of color.
Schedule, train and support staff in maintaining client landscape/garden beds.
We work year- round on projects and service programs across mid- Michigan
Plan staffing, review work orders, compile product orders and collect labor data in Excel.
Visit growers when needed to select annual plants
Visit in process and completed projects to assess quality and give staff feedback.
Ability to plan, schedule and support a small fast- moving team is essential.
A good sense of color container design is very helpful.
We decorate businesses and homes for the holidays. This leader organizes the preperation, and installation of existing decor materials and schedules the preparation in October and November.
A successful candidate will understand that the client is key as well as a team that is supported and encouraged.
Two years of industry experience or a 2 or 4 year degree in horticulture or related discipline.
Hours are largely weekday daytimes. Predictable schedule, growth opportunities.
Technical knowledge of plant material and plant care in the outdoor environment is key.
Skilled written and verbal communication essential. English and Spanish speaking environment.
