ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Repair Tooling and molds.
• Evaluate Tool and Mold Components on set PM schedules.
• Perform inventory cycle counts on tool spares and components.
• Manifold Repair work to include, changing out nozzles, tips, thermocouples and manifold sections.
• Change components in molds for production.
• Troubleshoot problems in areas of cleaning, repairing and mold changing.
• Variable work schedule and overtime may be required.
• Must be able to meet the attendance requirement for the position.
• Participate as a team player.
• Other duties as assigned.

· Fabrication of miscellaneous tooling, fixtures, and gauges

Education and Job Experience Requirements

· High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.

· Successful completion of trade school and/or apprenticeship program

· Blueprint reading.

· Minimum of 2 years toolmaking experience

· The ability to work independently or in a team is required.

· Flexibility with work schedules and overtime.

· Knowledge of injection molding would be beneficial.

Pay

· Pay and vacation is based on experience, $25-32

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Blueprint Reading

· Formal apprenticeship or 2 years of equivalent training/experience (preferred)

· Hot runner manifold repair and maintenance experience (preferred but not required)

• Basic Electrical knowledge (preferred but not required)
• Tool room environment work experience
• Knowledge of working with tool steel and carbide
• Quality inspection, capable of using micrometer, caliper, and optical comparator.
• Strong communication Skills
• Problem Solving Skills
