Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Temporary Accounting / Inventory Specialist to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing shipment receipts, processing invoices, performing data entry, and overseeing the operations of both warehouses.

This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Accounting and Inventory Management :

Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including shipment receipts and inventory levels.

Perform regular inventory audits to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Shipment Receipts :

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition.

Record and reconcile shipment receipts in the inventory management system.

Coordinate with suppliers and logistics teams to resolve any discrepancies.

Invoice Processing :

Review and process supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness.

Ensure timely and accurate entry of invoice data into the accounting system.

Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure timely payment of invoices.

Data Entry :

Accurately enter inventory and accounting data into the relevant systems.

Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of all transactions.

Assist in generating reports and analyzing data as needed.

Warehouse Management :

Oversee the operations of both warehouses, ensuring efficient workflow and organization.

Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments and inventory.

Implement and maintain effective inventory management practices.

Qualifications :

Previous experience in accounting, inventory management, or related roles.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.

Proficiency in using accounting and inventory management software.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Strong communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, logistics teams, and internal departments.

Pay Rate : $20.00 / hr.
