We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Salon Coordinator to join our team at The Polish Nail Lounge. As a Salon Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the salon, coordinating appointments, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our clients. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will contribute to the overall success and efficiency of our salon.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive salon experience from the moment they walk in.
• Manage the salon's appointment book, scheduling client services, and coordinating appointments to optimize the utilization of salon resources and ensure smooth transitions between services.
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about salon services, pricing, and availability.
• Assist clients in selecting appropriate services and products based on their preferences and needs.
• Maintain client records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of personal information.
• Coordinate with salon technicians and stylists to ensure efficient service flow and timely completion of appointments.
• Monitor and manage the reception area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming for clients.
• Process client payments, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
• Assist with retail product sales, including product recommendations, inventory management, and restocking.
• Communicate with clients to provide appointment reminders, follow-up calls, and customer satisfaction feedback.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Salon Coordinator, Receptionist, or in a similar customer service role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to manage a busy salon schedule and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with salon management software or appointment scheduling systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling client records, financial transactions, and appointment scheduling.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing client expectations and resolving conflicts or complaints.
• Knowledge of salon services, treatments, and products to assist clients with inquiries and product recommendations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays to accommodate the salon's operational hours.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a professional and welcoming salon atmosphere.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
