Overview The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas.

The Sales and Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for performing clerical, administrative and other support duties to assist in the smooth operation of the Sales and Marketing Department.
The Sales and Marketing coordinator Interacts with guests and clients as necessary to present the hotel in a positive and favorable aspect.
Responsibilities Must be able to work well in fast-paced & high-pressure situations, maintaining composure and professional presentation in alignment with hotel standards and brand standards.
Effectively prioritize, multiple tasks for multiple sources and effectively meet deadlines. Assimilate complex information, data, etc.
from multiple sources and consider adjusting or modifying to meet the constraints of the particular need. Understanding of financial information, data, and basic arithmetic functions.
Open and distribute mail to ensure all outgoing mail for the department; transcribe, type and distribute Sales & Marketing meeting minutes and other departmental communications& reports as necessary.
Track and maintain status of purchase orders, requested checks, gift certificates, donations requests. Input date into Group Rooms Control (GRC) database.
Assist managers and directors as necessary with preparation of client documents including proposals, contracts, presentations as well as entering all RFPs into appropriate databases (Delphi FDC, Lanyon, etc.
Assist Sales managers with inputting data into CVENT and with site visits. Qualifications Aspire to our Be FAIR ideals : Be Friendly, Accommodating, Inclusive and Respectful.
Four-year college diploma preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft office including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is vital, exposure / ability with Delphi and other hotel related databases and tools preferred.
