The Post Oak Hotel is seeking a Banquet Attendant to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences. The Banquet Attendant will be responsible for set-up of banquet function as prescribed by the banquet event orders.

• Set tables, chairs, dance floors and staging according to the instructions from the Captain, Banquet Manager or the Banquet Director
• Provide prompt and professional service during banquet functions. Ensures that guest safety is of paramount consideration in the set-up of the room and in the arrangement and performance of all banquet set up needs
• Is familiar with the banquet rooms, storage areas and back of the house
• If appropriate, assist guests, clients and meeting planners with changes and movements
• Is aware of all functions and activities in the Hotel during the shift
• Attend to guest complaints and requests promptly and refers them to the immediate Supervisor
• Handle equipment with care to avoid accidents, breakages and damage
• Reset all of the Banquet rooms for the following day

• Ability to work independently
• 2 years previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
• Physical demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and prolonged extended periods of standing
