Overnight guards will have a master list and must check IDs prior to allowing entry to anyone. o Maintain knowledge of general safety practices and specific post functions o Perform all duties as directed by either a predetermined building management representative, by PPL management, or both. o Record daily shift notes and identify for patterns in security risks o Security Officers must be completely familiar with the facility and any factors that might affect their operating procedures. o Report any lost items, maintenance issues, escalated policy noncompliance, theft, fire, injury, damage or suspicious activity to Client and PPL management immediately o Keep all working spaces neat and orderly at all times o Accidents must be reported to Client and PPL management immediately o The use of foul or abusive language at any time, regardless of provocation, will not be tolerated o All grievances should be reported to PPL management as soon as possible o Alleviating disruptions to guest experience by intervening and resolving security issues o Provide high quality, efficient, friendly, energetic interactions with guests o Maintain property literature, signage, displays, wayfinding maps, etc. and ensure that all information is current and in good order o Provide support and assistance to co-workers and other departments as requested by supervisor; participate in team meetings and implementation of property projects and goals o Providing other assistance to property management as requested **Skills:** -Must be able to communicate clearly -Experience in customer service, preferably in hotels - Experience in militarise, loss prevention, law enforcement, or related field - Proficient in conflict management - CPR and first aid certification preferred - Strong surveillance skills - Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where your skills will be valued.
